The Missouri Planning Council for Developmental Disabilities wants to remind you that all people are People First and that everyone has needs and rights. When you really get down to it, almost everyone has a disability of some kind. The MPC has developed a list of suggested activities to help promote awareness of people with disabilities during the month of March and all year long. Click here for more details.

Trainings are being scheduled for St. Charles, Springfield and Kansas City on the guardianship process. These trainings will provide information on options and alternatives to guardianship as well as assist individuals who currently have full guardianship and wish to make a change in their guardianship status in understanding their options.
