When Molly was placed in the Marshall Habilitation Center in 1951, she was only a child. She lived most of her life on the campus. This year, at the age of 63, Molly moved to the community. “Good Golly, Miss Molly: One Family's Story of Transition” follows her and her family through the process. To request DVD versions of Molly’s Story or for more information, contact us at 800-500-7878 or email cbrown@mpcdd.com. Share Your Success Story

If you are an individual with developmental disabilities or the family member of a person with developmental disabilities, the Council would like to hear about your successes.  We have collected and published stories from people who have successfully moved to the community from institutions (Change is Good) and of individuals with developmental disabilities who have obtained work in the community (Real Lives, Real Jobs), and we would like to hear your success story on these or other topics.  Click on the link below to share your story with us.
